Catch a bus or train

Varsity Lakes is easily accessible through a wide variety of transport, including the Surfside Buslines, which run routes 7, 11 and 748 through Varsity Lakes.

The Queensland Government has recently announced plans for a transport hub in Varsity Lakes and a rail line extension from Robina to Varsity Lakes. The train station is scheduled for completion in 2009.

Use your own steam

Varsity Lakes has 20km of hike and bike trails, which allows you to walk or cycle between the various villages and the town centre. While 80 hectares of lakes and waterways provide easy access for kayaking, and recreational sailing and boating.

Robina to Varsity Lakes Rail Extension

The Queensland Government has announced plans for a $123 million transport hub at the proposed Railway Station in Varsity Lakes which will include extending the rail line from Robina to Varsity Lakes. The Queensland Government has purchased 8.5-hectares of land to facilitate the new transport hub which will feature the Varsity Lakes Railway Station and the Varsity Station Village transit-oriented hub with integrated public transport and residential facilities.
